What a busy 24 hours Olympia Boxing had last weekend, we were at Rochester castle on Friday 26th July for Medway Sports annual Medway Mile event. We had coaches from St. Mary’s ABC and Strood ABC on hand promoting their clubs.
The event was first staged in 2007 at the former Black Lion Leisure Centre. It now takes place in historic Rochester, weaving through the high street, the Vines and the Cathedral grounds before ending under the Norman keep of Rochester Castle.
We packed away that night and made the long journey up to West Bromwich for Riverside Housing Group’s Community Day on Saturday 27th July. What a weekend we engaged with 230 people in 24 hours, which absolutely loved it! At this event we had coaches from Wodensborough ABC promoting their club.
