Olympia Boxing coaches took the Urban Boxing Arena to the Go Local Games Makers event in the Olympic Park on Friday 19th July. It was a fantastic event with acts from Britain’s Got Talent to McFly and Eddie Izzard on the main stage.
We engaged with 150 people in 3 hours of all age groups. Most of the participants had never tried a pair of boxing gloves on or hit a bag. Everyone of them left our arena with a smile on their face, with many of them asking ”where is my nearest club?”
