We are SO SO EXCITED!!!! To announce our Thera-Box pilot project has been nominated as one of three finalists in this years Kent & Medway KUDOS Awards!!
The success and outcomes of our Thera-Box pilot project we ran have been very widespread and we have received recognition for this great programme. We recently was awarded £4000 from Children Family and Young Persons Trust to continue this programme in five more schools starting in September. We are currently working on funding applications to see if we can increase this with matchfunding so we can deliver this programme further a field and reach more children, young people with additional needs and vulnerable adults.
Thera-Box being recognised for these fantastic awards is so rewarding not just for ourselves, but for the children we have worked with. We shall be working with Kent Sport and Super Reels a local film company in the coming weeks to record a short film on the Thera-Box programme which we will be excited to share with you all once it is finished. This film will be shown to the delegates and audience at the Kent & Medway Sport Conference held at the Kent Showground on Tuesday 9th October along with the other finalist. The audience will then vote on their favourite project. There is prizes for all three finalists which we will be using to support this programme going foward and enabling us to deliver to more and change lives.
