School FAQ's

NO, we do not teach fighting; we teach discipline, technique, dedication and hard work. If we taught fighting we wouldn’t be in one school, much less numerous schools.

People of all ages love our sessions, they all go away feeling calmer, happier and healthier.

Any ability can do it, even those living with Parkinson’s or Dementia as we have specific programmes for this; check out our pages dedicated to both of these for more information.

We are Olympia Boxing CIC, a Community Interest Company. We deliver Olympic style Boxing (Without the sparring) to all ages, from 8 to 88 in various forms from in person to over zoom.

Our goal is to reach as many individuals as possible to help shape their future or keep themselves active despite their busy lives. We have our youth sessions as well as adult only for our community sessions, which are delivered in community halls or fields. Most of our community sessions are FREE unless stated otherwise in our calendar,

We also deliver Before School, After School, Lunchtime Clubs and Curriculum P.E to numerous schools across Kent. We also hand out a certificate for Trainer of the Week and a medal for Trainer of the Term based off improvements made. We believe this helps to motivate the students to do well and improve; we also see that the hardest to engage students love boxing and really get stuck in.

We can’t say how busy one session would be, our youth sessions tend to be popular and if your child struggles with crowds or people and noise, then our session may not be suitable. Each individual with autism is different, our sessions are free so you are more than welcome to come along and try it out. We also do 1-1 sessions if this may be suitable, we can deliver in your home too. We have a whole page dedicated to this.

We provide all of the equipment needed, all we say is wear something comfortable and not restrictive to movement and water to drink.

Advice: If you are considering buying your child their own set of gloves, please show up and use ours to see if your child wishes to continue with sessions before spending money on their own set of gloves.

We can only take 8 and above (5 when rookies is back) due to insurance and safeguarding purposes. We find kids under 5 just don’t have the appropriate attention span, we want to maximise their potential when they’re developed enough to be able to process and retain it.
